Bancassurance Business Development (international) - NN

Location: The Hague
Salary: € 4600 - € 9000 a month

NN is an insurance group with presence in 18 markets, and market leading positions in life insurance in many of our markets. To further drive profitable growth for the group we are expanding our team focused on distribution partnerships in our international markets. The aim of the team is to coordinate and maximize value generation in B2B partnerships across the Insurance International segment. We split our attention to managing and growing existing group partnerships like ING as well selected new opportunities. The team is engaged in a variety of activities, ranging from managing existing relations, planning & performance management, preparing Group Management Board meetings, initiating & developing strategic opportunities or projects to internal & external positioning. 

This role offers you a monthly salary between €4.600 - €9.000,- depending on your knowledge and experience.

Your impact as Bancassurance Business Development at NN

Within the team you will flexibly contribute to any of the above priorities, we work agile / project based focusing on the most urgent and important topics only. We will expect you to work independently with our (potential) distribution partners. You will have your own responsibilities matching your experience level and will be expected to engage with BUs, partners and other team members as appropriate. You will need strong content as well as relation management skills to drive your opportunities forward with new and existing partners and keeping close alignment with NN business units. You will have a real impact:

Your responsibilities

  • Engage in developing pitch books and business cases for client engagement
  • Prepare high quality materials to manage relations at Group MB and MB-1 level
  • Lead projects and pilots with clients where relevant to the opportunity
  • Manage and build relationships with existing and potential distribution partners up  
  • Stakeholders include the BU management teams and sales-responsible staff, up to BA directors

Who you are

  • Relevant University Degree
  • Strong, proven strategic & conceptual thinking; a candidate with strategy consulting or similar experience is preferred
  • Affinity and experience in Financial Services, ideally banking and insurance
  • Self-started & can work independently and trackrecord in delivering high impact projects
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (oral and written) and a good understanding of the Dutch language
